All these 20 FloodSax alternative sandbags came from this one easy-to-carry box
FloodSax demonstration at Leicestershire County Council
We are now taking FloodSax out on the road to give free demonstrations or training sessions at your premises at a time and date convenient to you.
We recently did a major demonstration at Leicestershire County Council which invited representatives from the district and parish councils in to see a FloodSax in action.
Well over 60 people attended and the demo took under half-an-hour, including answering any questions.
FloodSax PR and Marketing Manager Andy Hirst said: “The audience was certainly impressed seeing a FloodSax in action. For the demonstrations I do a quick talk about how FloodSax can be used inside in their dry state to soak up internal escapes of water, leaks, spills and floods and then outside as instant sandless sandbags.
“To do this the FloodSax must be fully immersed in water so its special gelling polymer absorbs the water and retains it to become a robust alternative sandbag.
“We normally say this takes about 5 minutes but at the Leicester demo the FloodSax was fully energised and ready for action in less than 3 minutes.
“People watching were very impressed – after all, there’s nothing like seeing something firsthand to understand just how it works and to see, touch and lift the product and ask any questions.
“This is why we are keen to do demonstrations across the UK for businesses, councils, NHS trusts and flood action groups and don’t forget that FloodSax are ideal for homeowners too in areas vulnerable to flooding so they are ready to prevent very costly and traumatic water damage 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year.”
Andy added: “If organisations aren’t able to accommodate a demonstration but would like to see and test FloodSax for themselves then we can send out a free pack of 5.”
